January 14 2012, How I think I did in class

Over i think that my class perspiration grade would be like an 85. Sometimes I do ask questions in class or give input, But i also know that i don't always raise my hand when there is an opportunity to.

January 11th 2012 BLOG

Today in human geo, we watched more of the guns, germs, and steel. I think that we finished watching it because Jared Diamond finally answered the question of why the white men have more cargo, and it's not the people, it's the geography. So it's where people start to live, the kind of food, whether, and the terrain. Then the rest of the class we talked about the pow-wow, Which im going to, because i need more points and i wouldnt mind going. Turns out iv been it this before when i was like 6. Cause my neighbors are really spiritual.. and stuff. And i remember going to a pow-wow and then after i went to this huge play ground, then when i was thinking about it the other day, then i was like WAIT WUT, IV BEEN HERE BEFORE? So, Iv apparently been to John Carroll and i never knew it.

January 10th 2013 BLOG

Today in human geo, we started with the lock down. I'm pretty sure you know how i feel about the lock down dills and how it's not that unnecessary. So i dont think we really had to go over it because of how simple it was. But i do know that in some class rooms people got caught and yelled at, but i mean it's not that hard to get in a corner. AND did you know that there was a shooting in a school in California today?  By one of the students? i dont think we really need to worry about strangers as much as our own students. After that we watched more of Guns, germs, and steel. Today was mostly about domesticating animals, saying that out of 2 million different kind of animals but only 14 are easy to domestic.

January 9th 2012 BLOG

Today day in human geo we only talked about the lock down. My whole opinion in it, is that it's not as necessary as everyone is making it seem. This threat has been here along and now people are flipping out, like no, calm down. Some teachers tell us that it's really not going to happen, which i feel like thats more realistic. But on the other hand i have teachers how are taking the exstream to be safe, i get how they want us to be safe but the way that your telling us about how you at things like things and it makes them look weak and like they get freaked out fast and i dont really want a responsible adult who is telling me that they get terrified about things like this easily. Great roll models. Even with the security we have, people can still get in really easily. So we can't really hind that fact but the Bel-Air police office is like 30 seconds away. I live in Baltimore city and this kinda stuff happens everyday, people need to realize this happens, but not to every single school in the country ( and im not say that it's ok for a bunch of kids to get murdered, but im saying that people just need to calm them-selves sometimes )

January 7th 2012 BLOG

Today in human geo we watched more of Guns, Germs, and Steel. Today it was mostly about the first actual village, where people finally settled down. A team of people were digging up the remains of the houses and where they kept the food, did their farming and lived for the time being. The word for that is domesticating, im pretty sure. and that mean that they collected the plants and replanted them again, so that they have the power of harvesting food so that they dont have to keep moving to new places.

January 4th 2013 BLOG

In human geo, we started out talking about how people kill squirrel .. and awkward conversation like that. but i wasn't really listening because people around me were trying to prove that ducks can be suicidal, and kill them selves when they are injured. Personally i think that they do, on the websites i looked on it said they did, and i look at some pretty legit websites. For the rest of the productive class we watched parts of Guns, Germs, and steel. It started out by Jared diamond talking about what he did, like how he studied the people in poplar, New Guinea and how they do not have advanced technology as other parts of the world, but they do have very high survival senses.

Today in human geo; we started out talking about the essay we had from a while ago. I didn't get a good grade on it because when i was writing it, i was doing it really last minute and didn't put a lot of effort towards it. With the exam, I thought i did i good job but it was the simple things that tripped me up, especially with the matching the presidents i can never remember it.
